Visa information
Participants who require a visa to enter Slovenia may request an official Invitation Letter from the Conference Secretariat. The Invitation Letter is issued exclusively for visa application purposes and does not imply any financial or other support by the organisers.
Please note: A standard confirmation of registration or a simple invitation letter signed by the organisers may not meet the requirements of the embassy, consulate or visa application centre handling your application. Should you choose this option, the Conference Secretariat will arrange for the Certified Invitation Letter registered at the relevant Administrative Unit in Slovenia.
Visa requirements and supporting documents may vary depending on the applicant’s country of residence and the embassy or consulate processing the application. Participants are therefore strongly advised to check the requirements of the competent diplomatic mission before submitting their visa application.
Participants who already hold a valid Schengen visa (Type C) or a valid residence permit issued by another Schengen country do not need an additional visa to enter Slovenia.
How do I apply for a visa?
You need to follow these steps:
- Register for the conference and pay the registration fee.
- Check where you need to submit your visa application and book your appointment as early as possible with the competent embassy, consulate or visa application centre.
- Complete the form below and send your request to [email protected]. Certified Invitation Letters can be issued between 6 and 1 months before the congress.
